Faria MacDonaldFaria is a very well trained and experienced music educator, who has been teaching in the heart of Bloor West Village for the past 12 years. With an Advanced Certificate in Early Childhood Music Education (ECME) from the Royal Conservatory of Music and Ryerson University, she is also an accredited Orff Specialist and trained in Kodaly (Level II).

In the past, Faria has shared her love of music with children throughout Toronto, teaching music classes at the Sunnyside DaycareHumberside Montessori School, the Linden School, Mountview Alternative, the Young Children’s Creative Music and Movement Classes, and has also taught piano lessons at Walters Music. Faria is also a recipient of the Donna Wood scholarship and the Gunild Keetman scholarship, both for the study of music education. Currently, Faria teaches piano privately in addition to her classes for young children, and her piano studio is thriving. Faria has three daughters, Maya, Brenna, and Aisha, who have thoroughly enjoyed their Sugar Beat classes!
